What an incredible evening!
On behalf of New Orleans Community Pride, thank you to everyone who helped make the 2026 New Orleans Pride Parade a tremendous success. From our participants, volunteers, sponsors, performers, community partners, and public safety personnel to the thousands of spectators who lined the streets of the French Quarter, this celebration would not have been possible without you.
This year's parade showcased the creativity, diversity, and spirit that make New Orleans such a special place. Seeing our community come together in support, joy, and celebration was truly inspiring.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the organizations, businesses, krewes, entertainers, and marching groups that brought energy and excitement to the parade route. We are especially grateful to our volunteers and board members whose countless hours of planning and hard work made this event possible.
Thank you as well to the City of New Orleans, the New Orleans Police Department, emergency personnel, and all of our public safety partners who helped ensure a safe and successful event for everyone.
Most importantly, thank you to our community. Your support, participation, and enthusiasm remind us why this celebration matters. Pride is about visibility, acceptance, and belonging, and together we created a space where everyone was welcome.
As we continue to grow New Orleans Community Pride, we look forward to building even more opportunities to celebrate, connect, and support our community throughout the year.

Where Your Support Goes
Producing a safe, successful, and welcoming parade requires significant coordination and resources. The majority of parade expenses support public safety, cleanup services, insurance, and required city permits. By focusing resources on these essential operational needs, New Orleans Community Pride can create an event that is enjoyable for participants, spectators, and the broader community.
Expense Allocation
65.3% — Security & Public Safety
20.6% — Cleanup & Sanitation
3.1% — Insurance
1.5% — City Permits & Fees
9.4% — Administrative & Technology (include website hosting, domain registration, payment processing fees, banking fees, software subscriptions, accounting, and tax filing)
New Orleans Community Pride is committed to transparency and responsible stewardship of community support. These figures represent major operational expenses associated with producing the parade.
