Who we are
New Orleans Community Pride is a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating, supporting, and advocating for human rights in New Orleans. It is led by individuals who have helped organize and produce the New Orleans Pride parade over the past four years. Our mission is rooted in creating a more inclusive, community-driven celebration that reflects the true spirit of our city.
Through our annual Pride parade, events, and year-round outreach efforts, we aim to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and create meaningful opportunities for connection and empowerment. We believe Pride is not just a moment, but an ongoing commitment to visibility, equity, and community support.
Our work is guided by a diverse board of individuals who are passionate about ensuring Pride remains accessible, representative, and rooted in the people it serves. By prioritizing collaboration, transparency, and community voices, we strive to build something that belongs to everyone.
We believe in building a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and celebrated. By bringing people together, we inspire change, foster equality, and help make New Orleans a more vibrant and inclusive place for all.
